Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How will I make the team?
A: Dancers will be accepted onto the team based on the accumulative judge’s score of their audition video submission. Video submissions should be 45-60 seconds long demonstrating jazz or pom style dance. Videos should be sent to frontdesk@fivecrownfitness.com no later than Sunday, October 29th.
Q: What are the associated expenses?
A: All Dancers are required to purchase their uniform and game tickets for themselves and at least one parent or guardian. There is a minimal cost of just $175 (members) or $250 (non-members) for choreography, rehearsals, studio time, and game prep. Upon making the team dancers will receive all associated ordering information.
Q: Will my dance commitments or family vacations interfere with the FCF Performance Team?
A: All rehearsals occur on Sundays in an effort not to interfere with other activities. Although we do not have a specific attendance policy, we ask for your dancer to attend as many rehearsals as possible. We understand that some rehearsals may be missed and expect dancers to practice at home. The tentative rehearsal dates are mid-day Sundays: 11.12, 11.19, 11.26, 12.10, 12.17, 1.14, 1.21, 2.4, 2.11, 2.25, 3.3, 3.10
Q: If I make the team am I guaranteed to perform?
A: Our organization was accepted into these performance opportunities based on a history of excellence in dance, therefore in the unlikely event that a dancer does not demonstrate consistency in performance quality and memorization they may not be allowed to perform, as to not jeopardize the experience for others.
Q: What time are we required to be at the performance venue on game day?
A: All Dancers are required to be at the performance venue 60-90 minutes prior to game time, performance ready.
